The days with Freya on board followed a certain pattern. I got up at my usual 5am-6am and did some work. Freya emerged from her “flat” (the V-berth) at 9ish and we then had breakfast together. Anchor awaytime was usually around 11am, followed by some sailing to another bay or harbour, which was always accompanied by big smiles and big eyes about the beauty of the islands. Dinner was served with large-ish amounts of beer/wine. After dinner we continued our drink & talk strategy successfully.
All this time we talked about everything and not once did I get bored. What an enthusiastic, positive, interesting, stimulating niece I have! Thank you Freya for the time on board Akka!
