Not ideal “Zauberwetter” conditions, but my visitors are keen! So, we took Akka for a 25 nm spin on Tuesday. And they got it (almost) all.
We had a gentle following wind to get things started. We glided smoothly along the narrow channel between Böckö and Lökaö which got the “wows” going. At midday we dropped anchor for lunch. A nice little bay and lots of smoked salmon, salmi, prociutto etc. kept us busy for 2 hours. By then the wind had picked up and we had to tack down south past Möja and Kanholmsfjärden in 20+ kts, which got the 1st and 2nd reef into action. We finally arrived back at Sandhamn at 7pm. Time enough for a quick sundowner, before we strolled to our excellent dinner.
You see, my guests got it almost all. The only thing missing was the sun.
