A fellow Kings Cruiser

Gotland Runt foiled our attempts to stay a Sandhamn and so we decided to go for a little bay just a bit further along. As we motored around the corner, I spotted another Kings Cruiser already anchoring there. We circled around it, but we could not see anbody onboard.

What a coincidence!

I took Nils a few hour later over and was greeted by the very friendly skipper Oliver, who invited me onboard. It was fascinating to sit in the cockpit of an almost identical boat to Akka. For a change it had a steering wheel instead of a tiller. The original orange stove was still in place and so on. But still it was the same boat.

The boat was from Finland, but the skipper was a German who has lived in Finlad for over 25 years so that we could chat in German. What a coincidence again.
