There was not very much wind, maybe 3 Bft, but suddenly the genoa car gave way! It is a piece of aluminium that is quite sturdily built. On the picture you can see how the material got bent. I have no idea how this could happen.
So, I replaced it with a spare one and half an hour later this broke too! Spooky
What is a genoa car and is it vital? What’s its function? Can you easily get another one?? More info, please. Love the pictures.
All is well on Akka and the parts have been purchased and installed.
