Tashi and Felix arrived yesterday morning. It is great to have some guests again on Akka.
As soon as they dropped their bags we headed off to the Kaffeekuchehaus but in our enthusiasm we were there too early! Can you imagine. You hop on a plane in Vienna at 6 45am, take a taxi to the harbour and walk for 10 minutes to the other side of town and you are still too early! Admittedly they only open at 11am,but still.
So, we made our way back to the boat and off we went to Gällnö where we found a very private spot on Högh, one of the small islands at Hemfladen.
Swimming, exploring, rowing, chatting, laughing, cooking, playing cards, admiring, sleeping. All in all extremely nice!
It’s lovely to see you all in that beautiful sunshine (but the sunset photo doesn’t embiggen). I shall be thinking of you all frolicking in the Baltic for the next two days, enjoying the effects of “Hoch Isabel”.
