It is a known fact that taking pictures of seals swimming just outside Ingmarsö harbour is one of the most challenging photographic endeavors ever. There have been no successful attempts in the past and the future does not hold much more promise either. Experts have been scratching their heads for decades now and still have not been able to come up with a good explanation as to why it is so difficult to ban these creatures on celluloid or CCD chip. Professional photographers from Nature to Time-Magazine, David Attenborough and countless others have attempted the impossible, all to no avail. Seals outside Ingmarsö harbour cannot be photographed!
Needless to say that I am super proud of myself today as I finally managed to do the impossible. Here my “excellent shot” of a seal just outside Ingmarsö harbour.
“Wolfgang Salm has acheived the unachievable” (David Attenborough)
“A proud day for marine wildllife photography” (Jacques Cousteau)
And it is true! A google search for “photography seal just outside ingmarsö harbour” does revael that sailakka.at does rank in place 3, whereas it has to be noted that places 1 and 2 are occupied by general archipelago sites and have nothing to do with photos of seal just outside Ingmasö harbour.
Fame at last!
and we know what kind of know-it-all google is!
