Margit and Christian left early this morning and I and Akka are getting ready for the arrival of Bexi & Flo!
I am pretty ready as I went to the hairdresser yesterday and got a super-duper haircut & blow-dry. On top of that I got a local sailors tip for a nice restaurant on an island not far from Vaxholm that is run by a Czech and has excellent food, berths and Czech beer on offer.
It was a strange feeling looking at myself in the mirror at the hairdressers. I lost some weight over the last few weeks, am very tanned have some stubble in my face. But the biggest difference is the grin on my face – it’s constantly there.
In the evening we had another captain’s dinner (salmon with poached vegetables on a bechamel sauce) which was brought to it’s best by the approach of an impressive thunderstorm cloud (which just brought some rain and no wind).
That’s a very impressive storm cloud. And look at all those lights! I’ve never seen Vaxholm when it’s dark enough to be lit up.
While waiting on the airport for boarding: Hey Bexi, Hey Floh, so nice to see the next special crew for J,s and Victoria,s Akka! So we wish you a wondeful trip with Daddy!
