Haapsalu two
We decided to stay for days. Haapsalu is a real pretty little town, we have plenty of time to make our rendevouz with Tashi and Felix and we had to do some shopping.
Haapsalu
A beautiful little town, with oodles of character, charming wooden houses and an impressive bishop’s castle. So we are going to stay for 2 days.

I am always please when the harbour master hoists the Austrian flag to welcome us.
Sailing
The sailing conditions are perfect at the moment. Moderate winds and sunshine. I am also getting a kick out of using the spinnaker, it is a steep learning curve however.

Sea smoke
As we got to our destination in Estonia we saw some incredible sea smoke. It is caused by very cold air moving over warmer water. Or was it the other way round? Anyway, it made for a dramatic entry.
Crossing
The weather is glorious and I don’t like it! It is very hot and very little wind. Our crossing to Estonia started off with great hopes as we had some wind from the north-east. We even packed the spinnaker out, but it did not last. After 3 hours it was…
Hankö
Hankö has presented itself from its best side. The old summer holiday destination really comes out when the sun is shining – and it is shining at the moment. Temperentes in the 30s make for an impressive Hanko summer. We like!

We have been here before and we like it now even more. Hankö has had its glorious past and you can see this in the beautiful old buildings of the city centre. For me it is a work day however and I am glad that I can set-up my office…
