Impressions from Röder after sunset
I know, sunshine makes it always more beautiful, but this little island at the edge of the archipelago is something special. We were here with Tashi years ago but had to leave as it was not feasible to stay overnight then. Today is different.
Take some rocks with lichen, water, a few plants, blue sky and sun.
Lovely! Especially with the amount of blue (skies and sea) about. Unfortunately, the island is overgrown to such a degree that a walk is simply impossible. We are currently waiting for the wind to get down so that we can take Nils out for a peak around.
Quite a bit of wind throughout the night. But the anchor held fine and all is well on Akka. We are now at the north-end of the archipelago, and it seems the wind will be coming from the south now for a few days. Ready about!
A short hop from Ängsö to Furusund. I had a couple of conference-calls scheduled for the afternoon and a forecast with rain and thunderstorms made the decision to go to a Gästhamn much easier.
