When you read books written by sailors about their voyages, you notice that they all have a to-do list. They don’t stop going on about their to-do list and how important it is to keep going through the list and finish it off.
Here is my done-list, which I think is a more positive way of looking at things.
- Cleaned complete boat (well almost, I have not done the cockpit lockers yet)
- Washed the boat
- Polished it
- Stowed tools and gear
- Replaced gas hoses
- Replaced 2 sea-valves
- Fixed Sink gasket
- Painted antifouling
- Installed septic tank
- Installed fire extinguisher
- Mounted fires blanket
What took by far the longest was the cleaning and stowing – a lesson-learnt!
