The Austrian flag has seen better days. It faded so much over the last few years, that it resembled a pale pink rather than red. Furthermore, it frayed at the flapping corners and lost a cm a day.
What a surprise, therefore, when Tashi brought a new flag yesterday. It was a present from my sister who must have bought it in a flash. Many thanks Traude!
