I have not been idle during my time in Vaxholm! I have managed to get a lot of work-work and boat-work done. Sure, a lot less boat-work than planned, but still a few improvements made it.
First there was the re-cabling of the mast and the installation of new deck- and steaming light. Then my least favourite job – drilling holes into the boat. But the mast cables needed to be re-routed and I installed a proper deck-through fitting. Next was the electrics cabling. I wanted to replace all cables this year, but only managed to get the basic concept started and connected the new lights into it. Finally a new wooden floor for the walk-through between the salon and the v-berth.
