Pretty Möja

After a disaster morning – gas ran out and I had no coffee – we sailed to beautiful Möja.

And what a perfect sailing it was. After a cloudy and cold morning the weather cleared up during midday and we sailed under reefed genoa with 6+ knots to our destination with the bottom of the sea.

The Baltic has currently very little water. I know this sounds stupid but the prolonged high-pressure means that the sea-level is a a good 30 cm below normal. So when we got to Kyrkviken on Möja we had to snuggle our way in to find the right spot for Akka’s keel. There is not more than a few centimeters of water underneath her now.

But as the Austria saying goes :”Bye bye and keep a hand-width of water underneath your keel”.

And what a pretty place it is.
