Swedish summer

I  seem to have brought north wind and rain with me and I spend a lot of time being grateful that this year we aren’t in the folk boat but in something big enough to have a loo and space to stand up in. And that doesn’t leak water onto my bedding when it rains. I didn’t recognise Wolfgang when I first arrived, thanks to his weatherbeaten sailorly visage and substantial beard, but I’m getting used to it. I spent most of yesterday reading and sleeping as the weather was too changeable to risk a walk – it was actually wonderfully relaxing, but the sun had better come out for my mother when she arrives on Thursday!
