After almost 2 weeks it was time to say good bye to Tallinn. We left rather late (1:30 pm) and only want to move to a small guest harbour 5-6 miles north of Tallinn. Our boat neighbour recommended a different port instead and he raved about it so much that we took his advice.
And good advice it was too. Beautiful views, bathrooms, sunrises, bicycles and in the morning the Austrian guest flag with the “Bundesadler”.
I feel honoured!
Victoria adds: I’m really glad we got a place here and didn’t have to adopt Plan B, which was free anchoring in the bay around the corner, because there’s a really stiff wind today and boats have been coming in all morning, tossed about like corks and struggling with the narrow entrance to the harbour, while we’ve been curled up snugly in our office (which in my case is literally in bed) without any worries. We’ve just finished for the morning and want to borrow bikes and cycle into the forest just past the harbour (if we can get there without being blown off!)
