Getting to know Akka, means also trying to improve things. One thing I installed in the last few days is a tiller-brake. It gives me the freedom to let go of the tiller for at least a few minutes. For a single-handed sailor a real help
Akka also has a Ankarolina, a typical Swedish anchor-band that is rolled up at the stern – very handy. The only downside with Akka’s band is, that it is a bit short (I believe). So I rigged a anchor line bag next to the band. We will see how this will work.
