Victoria’s last week has come and we are making our way down south via Vaxholm, Saltsjöbaden and Stockhom . The itinerary is set as Victoria wants some cake in Vaxholm, we are meeting a sail-maker in Saltsjöbaden and her flight is early in the morning on Friday so that she has to leave directly from Stockholm. It is not such a long distance, but we got used to the late starts and early nights that it seems a long journey.
The wind is not helping as it is coming from the south and we have to tack all the way down by the looks of it. Yesterday we had grey skies and about 5+ Bft which meant an exhilarating sail. We hoisted the main with the 2nd reef and only partly unfurled the genoa.
Still plenty of umph!
