In total, I spent a whole week in Riga and it was great. Very hot, very humid and very beautiful. The old town is a Baltc pearl and it was a pleasure to have the harbour just around the corner. Of course it is touristy, but the many beautiful buildings and the size of the old town make up for it. The nouveau art houses are a treasure. Many of the “Gründerzeit” buildings outside the city centre reminded me auf Vienna.
Riga = a must-see!
