I stayed on Svartsö for 3 nights, as I currently have a lot of work-work to-do. All great and I got lots done. But at 6am this morning, a motorboat rushed by and created large waves so that Akka’s nose banged onto the jetty a couple of times. Later in the morning I went to a quiet bay to test the new bow anchor for the first time. What do I find? The rod securing the anchor has been bent. I can’t get it out. And after all the work installing the windlass, cables, pekken etc. I now have to cut the rod and find an alternative solution.
F*!$ck – big time.
Look at the size of the securing rod. You need to get a lot of force behind it to bend it!
