Interior

Akka has a lovely textured material that covers most of the ceiling and sides. It is a mottled white-ish texture that has seen better days. Surprising actually that there are no tears or anything. I tried a thorough clean, but it did not make any change. Also, some screws left rusty stains, that I can’t get out. So I decided to cover it all up with a new off-white material this year. Big job, but big smile as well.

Especially hard is the job, because a) I am doing it on my own and two hands are really not enough, and b) I am doing the job while at anchor. A big worktable would be very nice indeed. Doing the job also gives me a chance to look behind the coverings and so far, all seems well and no nasty surprises.

Here are some before and after pictures.
