After a truly amazing week, Angelika and Christian had to leave yesterday. I love the archipelago and sailing so much that it is always important to me to present the set-up here in its best light. And Sweden performed! Beautiful land- and seascapes, glorious weather, many little red houses, water warm enough to swim in, not too many mosquitos and Swedish hospitality from its finest.
The time with Angelika & Christian flew past in no time at all. We talked all day long, we chatted through a few sunsets and saw the beginnings of some sunrises too. It was an interesting mix of topics we talked about, only interrupted by the occasional “look at that” when another postcard-view came into sight. I enjoyed every moment, grinning away at the beauty of the anchorages and the good time we had. I think it was the first time in years that I actually had a holiday from work. Many thanks to both of them.
I am already so looking forward to their next visit! (Although it probably will spoil their impression of a Swedish summer)
