We don’t know what caused the Tallinn cuisine to veer off from many other ex-eastern-block countries into such high quality, but the food of Tallinn is plain excellent. It is not just that there is good cooking, it is not just well prepared traditional meals. The chefs here create fantastic modern dishes with an attention to detail that is only found at very high-class and high-price restaurants in Europe. Sure, the prices have gone up too during the last year, but hey, this is first-rate stuff.
