We went to Norrpada to anchor at a natural harbour. As we passed our designated bay we just passed it as we both thought that it can’t be right – way to small and too shallow. But no, it was Hallskär as we picked it out in the harbour guide.
A truly magical place but so tight to get in. As I inched my way in, I saw plenty of rocks at the bottom to the left and right. The depth sounder told me 2 meters, 1.8 meters 1.9 meteres. Definitely not for big boats.
What I almost forgot to tell you is the mosquito situation at Hallskär. Believe me it is bad, very bad indeed. They kept us up until 2.30 🙂
