Night-night

The view out of my bedroom window. Good night for now!

Victoria adds: Wolfgang, being very tired after a succession of 4am starts to his working day, was far away in dreamland by the time sunset came. It wasn’t spectacular by Scandinavian standards, as clouds had come up at the last minute, but the sky and the water turned beautiful shades of pink and blue and  shoals of savage hunting fish leapt out of the water in silver splashes, kindly keeping down the local midge population. I looked down through Wolfgang’s bedroom window,  but he was dead to the world and I didn’t think he would take kindly to being woken up to look at some fish, however high they jumped, so I took Nils and rowed out into the pink and blueness on my own. The water was completely still and glassy, and there I sat, surrounded by the splish-splash-splosh of the fishy olympics, until the moment had passed and the colours leached out of the sky again, and I went back to Aka and to bed.
