Harbour, what harbour

A fantastic sailing morning turned into an exciting beating against a 5+ wind into a missing harbour.

We left Hanko in glorious weather and had a perfect sail east. Sunshine and a nice breeze took us through a wonderful archipelago. Champagne sailing!

During the day the wind got up and we also had to change course, which meant that we had to beat into the wind in first and then second reef. Akka likes this and we never dropped our speed and after a few dozen tacks we came closer to our destination Rosala.

Yours truly did then what a navigator should never do. Trust the plotter data. Rosala has 2 harbours on the GPS, unfortunately one is marked in the wrong location! So, as we came into the bay we saw some local boats but no jetty or harbour. We finally moored along the ferry jetty, which said that you are allowed to stay for 2 hours. However we decided to stay overnight and had another great galley view.
