A change of crew! Tashi and Felix arrived and they arrived in glorious sunshine. A perfect Scandinavian summer’s day with lots of sun, a gentle breeze and best of all, lots of smiling Swedes!
When the sun gets out, the city atmosphere changes and everybody is out to soak up the sun. (The Swedes probably have an extra pocket somewhere to store the sunrays for those long winter months.) We made use of the sunny day by walking around town and doing a bit of sight-seeing and shopping.
With Akka at Vasahamnen this means a lot of walking though. Vasahmamnen is bang in the centre of Stockholm but the centre does stretch from Slussen to Djurgarden. And then supermarket shopping, boat shopping and hunting for dinner adds all up.
I did actually just add it all up and walked about 15 kms. No wonder I have blisters on my feet.
Time to go sailing!
