The other day we had Peter and his two lovely kids on board. Peter and Maria used to live in Bisamberg and have moved to Sweden now.
We met up at Vaxholm and sailed to Kalvholmen to have a picnic there. We also messed about in Nils and rounded up the afternoon with a … cake!
It was a wonderful visit and we enjoyed the company enormously. As our kids are grown-up now, the feeling (or need) to be a grandparent comes through quite strong. I enjoyed rowing Ella and Philip to a couple of islands to go “treasure hunting”.
To quote Peter Fox “… Wenn ich so daran denke, kann ich’s eigentlich kaum erwarten.”
