Akka was lifted out of the water earlier today and I was a pretty nervous to see the damage that I did to her when we hit that rock last week. I did check everything from inside the boat during the last few days and found nothing that indicated anything – but still.
So, with trepidation I looked at her keel as soon as she was out.
To my big surprise she only lost a bit of paint on the keel! That’s it – nothing, absolutely nothing else. What a great boat to put away such an impact.
I am very disappointed about my efforts to get rid of the rust though 🙁
I also wandered around the marina to see other examples of sailing in the archipelago.
