Most people associate with the words “boat holiday” a holiday on the boat, but after over 2 1/2 months on Akka I needed a holiday from the boat yesterday!
Being on my own is not my strength and the problem with my lost glasses and headaches has somewhat hampered my plan of work-work during the free time in the anchor bays.
So I took the opportunity yesterday and came to Vaxholm a day early in order to have a shower and to head into CIVILIZATION. MacDonald’s, Vasa Museum and Amy in the cinema were the program-highlights and I thoroughly enjoyed my day out.
Sounds like you made good use of your holiday – did you enjoy Amy? Felix is worried that he’ll be seasick on Akka, so be gentle with him 🙂
