Victoria had a very busy day today and I fell really bad after a month of veggying about on Akka. First she got up and had a swim! I am not joking, she actually got into the water! Not more than 16 degrees but did that stop her, hell no.
Once that was out of the way we weighed anchor and set sail for Arholma – a nifty 40 miles from our lovely bay at Gällnö. On the way she needed to add some relaxation exercises to the daily routine and die her yoga-hour while screaming along at 6+ knots just off Möja.
And of course there was Krug-champagne sailing, sailing from the very best. A day like in the brochures, blue skies, perfect wind from the stern, almost 7 hours of 6+ knots boat speed, hardly any boats on the water, moving from the inner archipelago to the outer archipelago with all its differences in beautiful and picturesque islands – just fantastic!
And finally a stroll around Arholma for a view across the open sea to have a peek at tomorrows sailing.
